Description:
A first of its kind senior assisted care wellness facility, located adjacent to Kingston’s Golden Triangle area providing social and healthcare related facilities as well as day time relief care. It is a 100 sqm freestanding annex to the Hyacinth Lightbourne Memorial Association (HLMA) convalescent centre. This distinctive Jamaican facility provides a safe and engaging environment for seniors, featuring comprehensive amenities including a shared doctor’s office, administrative space, a large multi-purpose activity area, a quiet zone, and accessible restroom facilities. Our design prioritized natural airflow, ventilation, and daylighting, creating a bright and welcoming space that supports the well-being of its users while sensitively integrating with the existing historic nog and timber building.
